New York City Engagement shoot

It’s not often that I am in New York, or I do engagement shoots. So I really wanted to make the most from my trip. I lugged all my film camera equipment across to the other side of the world just for this shoot. It is not easy bringing a big Pentax 67 or a big Polaroid camera on your back through so many flights. But I knew it would have been worth it once I was there shooting.

This New York Engagement shoot was all shot in Dumbo, Brooklyn. It is such a nice part of the city with great views and awesome pockets of light with old buildings creating great backdrops. We shot in the early hours of the morning before the sun even came up. Brennan & Kayla both live in Brooklyn and they recently got engaged. Brennan is a film lover, so that is one of the reasons I wanted to shoot his photos on film. Hopefully these photos show the love these two have for each other.
