Caitlin & Jay
Every time I have shot at the Convent Gallery in Daylesford, I have always had dramatic weather, with big clouds rolling over the landscape and that fresh air smell that only rain can bring, with a hint of fire smoke from the towns people keeping warm in their homes.
Caitlin & Jay came all the way over from Western Australia to share their wedding day in the beautiful country side of Daylesford with their closest friends and family. The day was full of all the things that make a wedding great, good company, great food and amazing music.
The highlight for me was when Jay played a song to Caitlin during the reception with his acoustic guitar. I love playing music myself and a favourite past time of mine is seeing people coming together with music. Music is a great way to express love and gratitude and it is a language that everyone understands, no matter where you come from.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed creating them x.
